Upon each of its sides you will find centered delicate carvings of interwoven pentagrams, while the front facing presents two such sacred symbols. The first pentagram is higher than the second, and slightly larger, with both being framed in a weaving pattern of Celtic knots that leaves the impression that together the knots and pentagrams create a sort of arched doorway or portal. This apt impression Is all the more clever once you realize this clever facing is a hinged door, closing with a latch and opening with a small pull ring.
